Cypress, CA - Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. has announced it will contribute a minimum of $30,000 in financial assistance to the American Red Cross for disaster relief and recovery efforts befitting victims of the Southern California Wildfires.
As part of this commitment, Yamaha Motor has established a program to match 100% of its employee contributions to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Including employee matched funds, Yamaha Motor will contribute a minimum of $30,000 to the Red Cross, which is providing immediate relief efforts across Southern California.
In addition, Yamaha is coordinating with its finance providers to assist customers residing in Southern California who have been impacted by the fires and who financed products on Yamaha credit card accounts or installment loans prior to the fires, to potentially waive late fees or defer payments, depending upon the circumstances of each individual customer.
With its U.S. headquarters in Cypress, California, Yamaha Motor has seen the widespread impact and devastation caused by these wildfires. Yamaha wishes to commend the firefighters, law enforcement officers and other emergency service providers, as well as the countless aid workers and volunteers, for their tireless efforts and contributions.
